Parking and Transportation During Well Dressing Week
During the Well Dressing week, a one-way system is in operation for vehicles coming into the village. A different entrance into the village is utilized, located just 0.5 miles from the main gates, and is clearly signposted on the A515.
A small charge is applicable for parking in the village, and all funds raised from parking fees go to support local charities. Additionally, the village provides designated disabled parking for those in need.
Upon parking and entering the village on foot, simply head past Tissington Hall and keep left. Once you reach the duck pond, turn left, and you’ll find the village hall located on the left-hand side.
For those utilizing bus services, the High Peak 441 or 442 services conveniently run between Ashbourne and Buxton with allocated stops in the village.
