Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site is a peaceful, rural idyll, set within 12 acres of landscaped grounds. We are ideally located midway between the lovely towns of Ashbourne and Belper on the southern edge of the Peak District National Park.
Our quiet, pretty site is surrounded by the most beautiful open countryside. It is set within a valley, sheltered and sunny, with breathtaking views of the rolling hills and fields all around.
Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site is a simple, no-fuss place. We don’t have pubs, clubs, shops or children’s play areas on site, but we do have plenty of peace and quiet, space to relax, fresh air and walks straight from your door!
Blackbrook Lodge Caravanning and Camping
We have 12 generously-sized
pitches with electric hook-up points and 15 additional pitches without electric
hook-ups. Early booking is recommended.

book together we will always endeavour to place you on pitches side by side,
including tents and caravans together if needed. Just please mention when booking that you are

Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site is a simple, rural site, but we do have a modern, purpose-built toilet and shower block. We also have a washing-up area for campers, with hot and cold water. We can also offer a freezer block exchange for cool boxes.
Blackbrook Lodge Glamping Pods
For those who want a little more comfort than a tent, why not try our beautiful glamping pods? We have four themed pods: The Duck House, Bumble Cottage, Kingfishers Rest and Hunters Moon.
Three of the pods have two single beds and one pod has twin sofa beds which could be converted to a large double.
All Blackbrook Lodge glamping pods are warm and cosy, with an electric heater for chilly nights. Or, for a proper outdoor adventure, each pair of pods also has an outdoor fire pit and picnic table (shared between two pods). A starter pack of logs and firelighters is supplied.
The glamping pods are supplied with all bedding (please bring your own towels). They also have tea/coffee making facilities, and come with a welcome pack of complimentary tea, coffee sugar, milk and biscuits.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed in the pods.
There are no cooking facilities inside the pods. However, there is a small cabin/kitchen shared between the four pods that has basic catering and washing up facilities, including a fridge, microwave, toaster, small two-ring camp cooker, and a sink with hot and cold water. All cutlery, crockery and pans are provided.
Glamping Pods: £75 per pod per night for twin occupancy, reducing to £60 per night for two nights or more. For friends and families who would like to book all four pods together, a further 10% discount applies.
Caravans, motor homes and camper vans: From £25 per night, with electric hook-up points.
Small tents (2 person): £5 per pitch + £5 per person per night, without electric hook-up points.
Larger tents (2+ person): £10 per pitch + £5 per person per night, without electric hook-up points.
Note, electric hook-up points for tents are available if required for an additional daily charge of £5 per pitch per night, but with limited availability – please request when booking
Gazebo/shelter space for friends/family groups booking together is available if required for an additional charge of £10 per pitch per night
Children aged 7 and under stay for free
Family, friends and visitors to tents or caravans are welcome on a daily basis. We would request a minimum parking charge of £3 per car per visit for a maximum of two people.
If visitors would like to fish, please note there is a minimum charge of £5 per rod per day.
We are proud to be a
dog-friendly site! Up to two dogs per
pitch are allowed free of charge. Extra
dogs are charged at only £2 per dog per night.
If your dog is well-behaved and stays close to your pitch, then no leads are required on the camping area. For dogs who are less inclined to stay nearby, we have a large, secure field where you can let your dogs off the lead safely. Of course, if your dog is apt to be uncontrollable or aggressive towards other dogs, we would respectfully request that you keep them on a lead at all times.
All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the fishing lake to protect our wildlife please.
