“Such a special place! Loved all the unique and thoughtful touches”

Hoe Grange HolidaysLeave the lightest of carbon footprints when you stay at Hoe Grange Holidays in one of our multi award winning self-catering log cabins, gorgeous glamping pods, or our authentic gypsy caravan.

Hoe Grange Holidays gives you a peaceful rural retreat in the stunning Peak District countryside with views over the farm fields. All the log cabins and glamping pods are superbly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday experience; a real home from home.

Close to Chatsworth, Carsington Water, and Dovedale, Hoe Grange is an ideal base for outdoor activities with wonderful walks from the doorstep.

A warm welcome awaits from owners David and Felicity, and you will find lots of little extras in your welcome pack, including delicious home baked bread, delicious oatie biscuits, and gorgeous eco-friendly handmade toiletries.

Self-catering Log Cabins

Light and airy the open plan kitchens are well equipped with a double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, and food processor.
Each cabin has a roomy lounge, leading onto the spacious decking, so you can make the most of the spectacular limestone scenery. Chill out round the fire pit or relax in the Swedish log-fired hot tub under the starry skies!
The log cabins are kept cosy with ground source heating and electricity is generated using a 10kw wind turbine and an innovative sun tracking PV solar system.

We welcome dogs and cats and have stabling and grazing for guests to bring their own horses on holiday.

Walking & cycling

With footpaths and trails from the doorstep explore the countryside using our route planners. We also supply puncture repair kits, wash down facilities and secure bike storage.

Accessibility

Our log cabins have been carefully designed for less able guests, with ramped access, level thresholds, and wide doorways, and are rated under the National Accessible Scheme. We offer a wide range of specialist equipment and hire of a Boma 7 off-road wheelchair so you can explore the countryside alongside family and friends.

Gorgeous glamping pods

Our gorgeous glamping pods are a romantic retreat for two adults; you can snuggle up on the comfortable king-size sofa bed with stunning views from your pillow through the hobbit inspired circular doors. Surprisingly spacious and equipped with a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, hob, kitchen sink, breakfast bar and chairs. No trips to the toilet in the dark as the pods have ensuite facilities.

Useful info on access to Chatsworth Christmas Fair 🎄

Useful info on access to Chatsworth Christmas Fair 🎄UPDATE 14/11/19 Restrictions extended to 24 November:
Due to the recent flooding, combined with the current and forecast poor weather, many of the areas we use for parking cars are currently not safe, and will not improve in the immediate future. As a result, we have taken the difficult decision to limit access to Chatsworth and the Christmas market from 15 to 24 November for those travelling by car, to people who have already booked tickets for the house, garden and/or farmyard on these days, Gold and Silver Friends of Chatsworth, or those with a booking at one of our restaurants.
Unfortunately, anyone who does not fall in to one of these categories will not able to access Chatsworth or the Christmas market during these days by car.
We apologise for any disappointment this may cause, but we must prioritise the safety of our visitors and staff. We are hopeful that conditions will improve, and will be posting regular updates.

The market will still be accessible by bus, details of which can be found here www.chatsworth.org/your-visit/how-to-find-us/

The Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop will be open as usual, and is accessible by car. The restrictions above only relate to the main car parking areas at Chatsworth House and Christmas market.

This is getting a bit embarrassing - but we have been announced as finalists in another national award! This time the honour comes from The i Paper in the #staycationAwards in their Sustainable Tourism category. The winners of which will be announced at a glittering dinner in London next month. Our nomination was originally made by a guest, so Thank you. Its good to see our region getting recognised as a whole, as The Peak District and Derbyshire is also a finalist in the Rural Location of the year.
The next award we will be winning will be for services to the posh frock industry!!! JPIMedia Events Visit Peak District Farm Stay UK Green Tourism
