Innisfree Cottage is located in the beautiful village of Eyam in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Tucked away on a pretty country lane, Innisfree Cottage is perfectly located to explore this famous ‘plague village’ as well as the wider area.
The cottage is the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by peace and tranquility.
The cottage has three bedrooms, all tastefully decorated with en-suite or private bathrooms. The bedrooms are well equipped with free toiletries and free hospitality trays, which include five different teas, drinking chocolate, coffee, biscuits and chocolates.
You will also find a hairdryer, individual heating control and free wifi access in all rooms.
The first is a double room with a standard double bed, an en-suite bathroom with shower, and a beautiful view over to Bretton.
The second bedroom is a twin room with two adult size beds. The external private bathroom (with bath and shower) is located just outside the room across the staircase. Robes are provided for ease of access to the bathroom.
The third room is downstairs and is a double room with views of the front garden – ideal for those who don’t like to use stairs. This room also has an external private bathroom and robes are provided for ease of access. This is the only guest room on this level.
In each room you will find an excellent selection of guest information providing historic data about Eyam along with details of surrounding villages, attractions, events and the best local places to eat and drink.
Outside there is a pretty garden, perfect for enjoying the Peak District fresh air, along with safe, off-road parking. Innisfree Cottage has a private entrance just for guests.
A three-course breakfast is included with all stays at Innisfree Cottage. Enjoy anything from a Full English to a Continental breakfast, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals can all be enjoyed in the sunny breakfast room and will help set you up for the day.

Innisfree Cottage Location
Innisfree Cottage is well located to visit a range of Peak District attractions. The historic village of Eyam boasts a long and interesting past, and if history is your thing Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall are within easy reach of the cottage too.
Eyam village is on the edge of the Hope Valley – renowned as a destination for outdoor pursuits – climbers, cavers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers come from far and wide to explore this area and its pretty villages (including Hope, Hathersage and Castleton).
The picturesque towns of Buxton, Matlock and Bakewell are an easy 15-20 minute drive away. Eyam is perfectly located on the edge of the Dark Peak and the White Peak, and excellently placed for walkers, climbers and cyclists.
Local walking guides and information is available in all guests rooms and your hosts can also offer tips and advice on local walks and where to find the best views, villages, rivers, walking, pubs and cafes.
