Upper Hurst Farm 1

Upper Hurst Farm is far more than simply a campsite.  This little slice of Peak District heaven in Beresford Dale on the edge of Hartington is a peaceful, rural idyll that draws guests back time and time again.  The elevated position means that you can enjoy panoramic views that stretch for miles over the rolling hills and dales.

Here you’ll find not only a fabulous camping and caravan site, but also a beautiful holiday cottage and a luxurious glamping yurt. It’s perfect for families – and your furry friends are welcome here too!

Caravan and Camping Facilities at Upper Hurst Farm

The caravan and camping pitches at Upper Hurst Farm are on a large, gently-sloping field, offering stunning views over the beautiful surrounding countryside.  Here you’ll find a selection of super-pitches, each one generously-sized at more than 11 square metres, with a 16A electric hook-up, its own water tap and grey waste disposal point.

The toilet and shower block at Upper Hurst Farm is immaculately clean and warm, with underfloor heating.  It has been likened to a 5-Star hotel!  There is unlimited hot water and a spacious wet room which offers easy access for wheelchair-users or those with limited mobility.  Families with small children are allowed to use the wet room too.

There is a separate kitchen area with pot-washing equipment, laundry facilities and a small freezer for ice packs.

Barbecues and fire pits are allowed, but please buy your kindling and wood directly at the farm.  This is because their wood is very dry and it prevents smoking out your neighbours!  Use of your own charcoal is fine.  Please use the bricks supplied to protect the grass.
