Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site is a peaceful, hidden gem, set within 12 acres
of landscaped grounds. Ideally located between the lovely towns of Ashbourne and Belper on the
southern edge of the Peak District National Park, this quiet, pretty site is surrounded by the most
beautiful open countryside. It is set within a valley, sheltered and sunny, with breathtaking views of
the rolling hills and fields all around. Just short drive to Matlock, Carsington Water, and many other pretty villages and scenic walks, it’s the perfect base to enjoy this wonderful area.

Blackbrook Lodge is a simple, no-fuss place. There is a small shop on site and there’s plenty of peace and quiet, space to relax, fresh air and walks straight from your door! A great place to return to after a day out! There are also lots of great village pubs serving food just a couple of miles away, and nearby takeaways for those that fancy a cosy night in.


About Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site

At Blackbrook Lodge you’ll find 44 generously-sized pitches with a mixture of electric hook-up points, hard standing and pitches without electric. Early booking
is recommended. Tents, campervans and motor homes are welcome, and can book pitches with or without electric hook-ups.

If friends or families book together the site owners will always endeavour to place you on pitches
side by side, including tents and caravans together if needed. Please mention when booking
that you are with another party.

Blackbrook Lodge has a purpose-built toilet and shower block, as well as a washing-up area for campers, with hot and cold water. Freezer block
exchanges for cool boxes are also available.

There are also fishing ponds on site for you to enjoy at a cost of £5 per rod, per stay.

Blackbrook Blue Lodge

The Lodge at Blackbrook Lodge has everything you need for a perfect stay, with views overlooking the fishing ponds and an abundance of wildlife. After a busy day visiting the brilliant sites that Derbyshire offers, you can open the balcony doors, relax or fish for the evening.

The Lodge has a fully fitted kitchen with everything you need for cooking and dining. The first bedroom has a king-size bed with a balcony looking over the grounds and the second bedroom has triple bunk beds, perfect for a family getaway. The bathroom has a shower and bath and towels are supplied, as is all bedding.


Blackbrook Lodge Glamping Pods

For those who want a little more comfort than a tent, why not try the beautiful glamping pods at
Blackbrook Lodge? There are four themed pods: The Duck House, Bumble Cottage, Kingfisher’s Rest and Hunter’s Moon. Three of the pods have two single beds and one pod has a double bed.

The glamping pods at Blackbrook Lodge are warm and cosy, with an electric heater for chilly nights. They all have a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. All your cutlery, plates and bowls are supplied and come with a welcome pack of complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. One dog is welcome in each pod. Bedding is not supplied in the pods, all beds have a mattress protector.

For a proper outdoor adventure, each pair of pods also has an outdoor fire pit and picnic table (shared between two pods).

Family, friends and visitors to tents or caravans are welcome on a daily basis. They must have left
site by 9pm and cars to be parked in the car park.


Dogs are welcome at Blackbrook Lodge!

Blackbrook Lodge Caravan, Camping and Glamping Site is proud to be a dog-friendly campsite! Up to two dogs per pitch are allowed. (One dog per pod). Dogs must be kept on leads at all times including at your pitch and around the fishing lake to protect the wildlife.
