Built in 1753, Derwent House provides an excellent base to explore the sights and sounds of this wonderful area. A superb house for a celebration, a reunion or for families to come together, Derwent House offers plenty of space to relax, rest and unwind.
Derwent House retains many of its original features and all of its classical Georgian elegance. The accommodation is set over three floors, and all rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated.
The Master Bedroom (Room 1) has a King Size bed with an original Georgian fireplace, oak wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. This room can also accommodate a day bed or cot.
Opposite the Master Bedroom is a Twin Bedroom (Room 2) decorated in classical Georgian style, with chest of drawers, built in wardrobe and an en-suite toilet and shower room.
Towards the back of the house is a Double Bedroom (Room 3) with wooden furniture, storage, and an en-suite toilet and shower room.
On the same floor there is a further Double Bedroom (Room 4), with a wardrobe and an en-suite toilet and shower
The second flight of stairs leads you to two further bedrooms on the top floor:
A Double Bedroom with a King Size bed (Room 5), a wardrobe, an en-suite toilet and shower room.
A large Twin Room (Room 6) with a wardrobe and dressing table. This room can also accommodate a day bed or cot.
