Fairy-Tale Glamping

Have you ever walked into an enchanting woodland, with sunbeams bursting through the trees, with the peaceful sound of birdsong all around you, and wondered, is this where fairies play? Well, now you can join them and experience secluded glamping at its very finest in your own private four acres of woodland at Secret Wood Glamping! The only other noise you’ll hear as you arrive is the bubbling of the wood-fired hot tub ready and waiting for you to relax and enjoy.

Secret Wood Glamping, a unique, hidden gem in Holmesfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park, is suitable for up to twelve people in two fabulous bell tents, each sleeping up to six people. You can chose to book one or two, depending on your group size, but either way, you’ll have this secret getaway all to yourselves! Enjoy the home comforts of cosy double beds and a woodburning stove, while embracing the great outdoors, climbing trees, playing on rope swings, paddling in streams, and toasting marshmallows under the stars! You dog can even come join in the fun too.

Fabulous Bell Tents and Outdoor Essentials

Each of the two gorgeous bell tents at Secret Wood Glamping sleep up to six people in two comfortable double beds and a sofa bed, so they’re perfect for families or groups of friends wanting to get back to nature and have fun together, but without all the hassle of camping. Bedding is provided, and there is plenty of storage for those wishing to stay for a few days. There is also a woodburning stove perfect for cosying up on those cooler days, and simply enjoying good old fashioned family time together.

There’s an outside undercover kitchen with sink and all your essentials, including that all important kettle to enjoy your morning cuppa while listening and watching the woodland reawaken and come alive. You can rustle up tasty meals on the barbecue; breakfast or barbecue packs can be preordered to enjoy on your arrival. (There are two nearby pubs serving food too, so you definitely won’t go hungry……..or thirsty!)

Other camping necessities are also covered at Secret Wood Glamping with a compost toilet, and a hot water shower. The best bit – there’s no wifi!

Amazing Outdoor Space

Whilst the bell tents at Secret Wood Glamping are fabulous, it’s the outdoor space that’s what this amazing experience is really all about. Whilst you have four acres all to yourself, this little gem of a place is actually set on a 157 acre working farm, so it really is a case of pure peace and tranquillity, but if you venture out of camp, you’re sure to see elements of farm life, including the adorable horses and donkeys who love a fuss on your way in and out of camp.
