Sunshine Pizza Oven – Sarah & Dan’s Services: Wood-fired pizza to order, wood-fired pizza buffet style, wedding and party catering, corporate event catering.
Established in 2014 and based in the Hope Valley, we have catered for many weddings over the last ten years, mostly in the Peak District and Sheffield, some at local venues and some in farmers’ fields.
Hand-stretched and Neapolitan-style, our organic slow-proved dough is made with a special blend of three different organic flours, which gives it its delicious, unique flavour. We use organic, homemade tomato sauce and excellent toppings to suit vegetarians, meat-eaters, and vegans. We can also accommodate gluten-free requests and are extra careful for coeliacs and any other allergies. We’ve held a 5-star food hygiene rating since the beginning.
We use plenty of fresh vegetables, high-quality Italian meats and cheeses, and high-welfare ham from the Peak District. We can also source other high-welfare cured meats and organic cheese if desired.
From the very beginning, we wanted to do things the right way. This meant, wherever possible, using the highest quality ingredients from ethical suppliers who care about their produce as much as we do.
We have a beautiful hand-painted pizza van with a characteristic orange oven inside. We also have three ovens on trailers, which we set up with gazebos adorned with fairy lights or bunting. These are perfect for nice weather or at festival-style weddings.
We can serve buffet-style so your guests can take slices, or you can order directly from the van or stall.
We are self-sufficient, and we have an efficient and friendly team to ensure everything goes smoothly.
We can cook the pizzas at a leisurely pace over a few hours or have a full team to serve them as quickly as possible if you wish to eat within a certain time frame.
Prices vary according to the number and size of the pizzas and the menu you choose. We also offer garlic breads, but we generally don’t provide salads or sides.
Our minimum booking is typically between £750 and £1000, depending on the time of year, but smaller parties out of season may also be possible if they are local to us.
