Well, hello! I’m Sally – a Celebrant based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, just a hop away from the fabulous Peak District. I’ve been writing and delivering bespoke wedding ceremonies for over 5 and a half fantastic years, meeting the most incredible couples along the way. Each ceremony I create is totally unique, filled with fun, love and plenty of laughter. It’s all about making your wedding day truly yours, a ceremony you and your guests will be talking about forever. Obviously, there’s plenty of room for romance too, I mean, it is your wedding day!
I’ve delivered weddings in the most incredible venues from grand halls to rustic barns, historic mills to cute pubs, from festivals in a forest to tipis in the family garden. I’ve travelled all over the Peak District, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, the Lake District, Anglesey and beyond. Wherever there is love, I’ll be there!
What do I love the most about being a celebrant?
Oh, where do I start? I love getting to know you as a couple, finding out all about what you really love about each other. What makes you tick, as well as what gives you the ick! I love losing myself in writing your love story, but the very best bit of all is when I’m standing beside you on your wedding day, delivering a ceremony to you and all your favourite family and friends that reflects your love, your personalities and your journey together and seeing the look of pure joy on all your faces.
And here’s the totally awkward bit – how much is this fabulous service? I charge £800 – no more, no less, just exactly that. This includes:
- A free of charge no-obligation discovery chat where you can tell me all about what you’re looking for, I can answer any questions and you can decide if I’m the right celebrant for you.
- A face-to-face meeting to run through your ideas and plans so I can create a bespoke ceremony for you. We could do it on Zoom if you’re far away.
- A fun ‘couples quiz’ so I can really get to know you!
- If you’re writing your own vows, I can help with some ideas.
- Unlimited contact throughout.
- Help with choosing poems and readings.
- Unlimited revisions of your draft ceremony script to make sure you’re absolutely, totally happy with it.
- Co-ordination with your venue, wedding planner, photographer and musicians to make sure everything runs to plan on the day. I’ll make sure anyone who’s got a part to play – best man/woman, bridesmaids or readers know exactly what they’re doing and when! Oh, and of course not forgetting giving you an amazing and memorable ceremony!
