Hello from Dale Farm Rural Campsite. We are a small, rural camp site and working farm in Great Longstone, Derbyshire.
Dale Farm is right in the heart of the wonderful Peak District countryside, less than a mile away from Monsal Head and the Monsal Trail and a few miles from Bakewell and Chatsworth House. We are ideally situated for a visit to experience what the area has to offer.
Whether you are interested in walking, rambling, mountain biking, climbing, cycling, landscape photography, star-gazing or sightseeing, food and shopping, it is all right on our doorstep.
We have created a camp site in a beautiful peaceful location for people to enjoy and respect these surroundings.
We have pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes and trailer tents (sorry no caravans without prior approval due to access issues).
Glamping – We also rent out bell tents for 2-4 people which are fully kitted out so you can camp in style whilst only having to bring minimal camping gear.
Our small on site farm shops sells our own farm-reared meats, as well as jams, chutneys, cakes and treats, plus eggs from our friends down the road. We also have firewood, kindling, fire lighters etc.
There is an excellent little shop in the village within a short drive.
We are a quiet and peaceful campsite where no music is allowed and groups are discouraged due to their tendency to make too much noise.
We enforce a rule of a quiet site between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Noise and car movement is prohibited during these hours and we ask that campers respectfully keep their voices at a low level so as not to disturb those wishing to have an early night to make the most of the surroundings the following morning. We look forward to sharing our little piece of the Peak District with you!
We are a dog-friendly site, but please ensure your four-legged friends are kept on a lead at all times.
