I’m Sarah and you will often find me wandering the edges, moors and villages of the Peak District with Daisy, my Yorkshire Terrier. I was born and brought up in Sheffield and I have so many great memories of visiting and exploring the Peak District with my family as a child. Although I have lived in many places, including Sydney and London, I always come back to this stunning National Park, which I think will always have my heart. My love for this part of the world is actually the reason I got into photography in the first place. I really felt I needed to capture and share the beautiful scenes that I was seeing on my regular walks with Daisy.
I love to photograph everything that is to be found within the Peak District, from epic landscape vistas and the animals that inhabit them, to the picture-perfect villages dotted throughout the park. For me it’s all about capturing that special moment of light, or that cheeky highland cow sticking his tongue out, or a stunning rainbow appearing just at the right moment.
I really hope that my photos will inspire people to get out and explore the Peak District for themselves and enjoy discovering new locations off the beaten track.
