Our 4 mile circular walk from Monyash takes you on tracks and field paths through rolling countryside into Cales Dale, lined with twisted moss covered trees, and on into Lathkill Dale. The route follows the River Lathkill to its source, where in wet weather or winter months the water springs dramatically from a cave. From there, the walk heads up through open countryside in Bagshaw Dale before returning to Monyash. This is a perfect White Peak walk for those seeking beautiful scenery and peaceful countryside.

The route takes you on tracks and field paths through rolling countryside into part of Cales Dale, lined with twisted, moss-covered trees, and on into Lathkill Dale. It follows the River Lathkill to its source, when in wet weather or winter months it can be seen springing forth dramatically into the landscape from a cave. From there the route heads up through the open countryside of Bagshaw Dale before returning to Monyash.
