The fun filled experience shows why Buxton’s spa waters have been attracting so much attention and thousands of visitors for centuries! This multi-sensory journey is great for solo travellers, couples, families, and groups, taking you through nine of The Buxton Crescent’s impressive exhibition rooms, using a variety of technical effects to tell this fascinating story of water, history and architecture!

Step inside one of Buxton's most iconic buildings and discover the fascinating story of this historic spa town at The Buxton Crescent Experience. Set within the beautifully restored Georgian Crescent, this immersive visitor experience brings to life Buxton's famous thermal waters, its development as a fashionable spa destination and the people who helped shape the town.
Once you've explored the Crescent, you're perfectly placed to discover Buxton on foot. Stroll across to the historic Pump Room and the nearby natural mineral water spring at St Ann's Well, wander through the Pavilion Gardens, and admire the magnificent architecture of Buxton Opera House. The town centre's independent shops, cafés and historic streets are all within an easy walk too.
If you'd like to explore further, head underground at Poole's Cavern or continue into the surrounding countryside towards Solomon's Temple and Grin Low.
