The Retreat at Hall Farm is a romantic, luxurious hideaway that’s just perfect for two, a haven of rural peace and quiet in the pretty hamlet of Hollington, near Ashbourne in Derbyshire. This beautiful barn conversion has been lovingly renovated, retaining all the charm and character of the original building whilst offering every modern comfort you could possibly wish for. There’s even a private garden with a hot tub and gazebo, ideal for a relaxing evening after a day exploring the nearby Peak District National Park!
Surrounded by gently rolling hills, this is the perfect place for a break, to soak up the fresh countryside air and forget about the stresses of everyday life for a while. At The Retreat the only noise comes from the free-range chickens and friendly gang of pet sheep!
Luxurious Open Plan Living
The Retreat is all on one level, offering a bright, open plan living space with lounge, kitchen and dining area. With original timber beams, wooden flooring and windows all around, it has a fabulous country feel, with light flooding in, making it spacious and airy.
The cosy lounge area has a TV with DVD and a flame-effect fire, so once you’ve enjoyed the hot tub you can snuggle up to watch your favourite shows. There’s also a CD Player/Radio and Wifi.
The fully-fitted and well-equipped kitchen has a halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as all the crockery, pots and pans you could possibly need to rustle up a romantic meal for two in the dining area, and enjoy a relaxing home-from-home stay.
The living space leads straight out to your own beautiful private garden with fabulous hot-tub.
King-Sized Bedroom
The luxurious bedroom has a King-sized bed and more of those fabulous timber beams, wooden flooring and beautiful décor.
There is also an adjoining contemporary wet room with shower, sink and WC.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
Hot Tub & Private Garden
The outside of The Retreat is just as fabulous as the inside. There is a delightful private garden, ideal for sitting out with a glass of wine and watching the sun set or star gazing from the hot tub! There’s also a barbecue and garden furniture for dining al fresco. Off-road parking is available.

The quiet, peaceful hamlet of Hollington is only a 5 minute stroll away from The Retreat at Hall Farm. Despite being wonderfully secluded, Hollington is within easy reach of the historic market town of Ashbourne and all the beautiful attractions of the Peak District National Park, including the famous beauty spot of Dovedale.
