The stunning Butler’s Quarters sleeps 8, plus a cot. This comfortable, sociable property with original features and beams is perfect for family getaways. It also enjoys its own large cottage garden with BBQ and outdoor furniture, sitting room with wood-burning stove and a door to garden.
The Card House is a modern, warm holiday cottage, renovated to a high standard, with stunning views of the Hopton Hall meadows. It has a comfortable open-plan style, yet still has a wonderfully cosy living room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, all arranged around the central chimney, which is equipped with a log burner.
Facing onto the courtyard, the Dovecote is a cosy cottage, intimate and comfortable, and just a tiny bit quirky!
The spacious and charming Gardener’s Cottage is a joy to stay in. This intimate “upside down” cottage has original beams, facing away from the courtyard with views over the beautiful Hopton Hall meadows. The cottage accommodates 8 people in 4 bedrooms, and is ideal for family gatherings.

A trip to the beautiful Carsington Water, on the edge of the Peak District, is a perfect day out from Hopton Hall Holiday Cottages. It’s the ninth largest reservoir in England and it’s a wonderful location for walking, cycling, bird-watching and a great range of water sports.
Also close by is the picturesque town of Ashbourne, known as the Gateway to the Peak District. The town has lots to offer the visitor, with beautiful architecture, plenty of independent shops and lovely cafés.
