The spacious and equally charming Gardener’s Cottage is a joy to stay in. This intimate “upside down” cottage has original beams, facing away from the courtyard with views over the beautiful Hopton Hall meadows. The cottage accommodates 8 people in 4 bedrooms, and is ideal for family gatherings.

A trip to the beautiful Carsington Water, on the edge of the Peak District, is a perfect day out from Hopton Hall Holiday Cottages. It’s the ninth largest reservoir in England and it’s a wonderful location for walking, cycling, bird-watching and a great range of water sports.
Also close by is Ashbourne. The picturesque town of Ashbourne is known as the Gateway to the Peak District. The town itself has lots to offer the visitor too, with beautiful architecture, plenty of independent shops and lovely cafés.
