With an abundance of walks, beautiful scenery, and far reaching views from your doorstep, Croft Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally placed to view some of The Peak District National Park’s most spectacular landscape. The cottages have been furnished to a high standard, retaining a great deal of character from the original farm buildings. Accommodating 2 to 11 people in three individually designed cottages, Croft Farm Holiday Cottages enable you to gather as a group or to have your own privacy, in your own specific cottage. (TrailView sleeping 2, The Farriers sleeping 5, and The Coach House also sleeping 2).

Whatever the season, Croft Farm Holiday Cottages always have something to enjoy! Explore the High Peak, Tissington and Monsal Trails in the Summer. Enjoy springtime walks and treasure hunts at Carsington Water and Ilam Hall. Have fun at Chatsworth House’s Country Fair, and Halloween trails and fireworks at Alton Towers in the Autumn. Finally, get festive at the Christmas Markets at Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, before getting cosy in front of the cosy log burners in winter.

Centrally located for Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and The Heights of Abraham – you’ll be spoilt for choice for places to visit!

About Croft Farm Holiday Cottages

Croft Farm Holiday Cottages are all furnished to a very high standard, with an emphasis on home-from-home comforts. All properties have well-equipped dining kitchens, perfect for cooking up a feast, and each lounge has a cosy feature fireplace to snuggle up in front of.

Each property has a paved patio area to the rear. The Old Stables, The Coach House and The Farriers share a large lawned area, and Trail View Cottage has its own private lawned area. The properties share a courtyard to the front and there is ample parking space.

Service dogs accepted by prior arrangement. Sorry, no other pets are allowed.

The Cottages

The Coach House (Sleeps 2)

The Coach House at Croft Farm Holiday Cottages is a beautiful converted barn, set all on one level at the entrance of the courtyard.

It is accessed by a ramp from the main courtyard area and has its own private patio off a shared lawn to the rear.

The lounge has a glorious picture window which affords spectacular views of the changing seasons. It also has a log-burner for cosy winter evenings, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring in the Peak District.

At night, the comfortable double bedroom with fresh, crisp linens will ensure you have a restful night’s sleep, awoken only by the sound of the birds.

Trail View Cottage (Sleeps 4)

Trail View Cottage at Croft Farm Holiday Cottages is an attractive, detached converted bar.

Trail View Cottage is set all on one level, open plan at one end, with its own private secluded patio and lawned area, offering a breathtaking view over the High Peak Trail.

Trail View Cottage has original beams in the kitchen and lounge, with a log-burner to give a cosy home-from-home feel to the property.

This cottage is particularly suited for families with small children. It sleeps 4, with a space for a cot. Please note, a highchair only is supplied with the cottage.

The Farriers (Sleeps 5)

The Farriers at Croft Farm Holiday Cottages is a newly-refurbished converted barn, set on two levels, with its own private patio off a shared lawned area to the rear.

The lounge is comfortable and spacious with luxurious leather sofas. An electric fire provides a wonderfully cosy evening atmosphere after your Peak District adventures!

The Farriers is ideal for families. It has a secluded corner position in the courtyard. There is a paved patio area to the rear of the property with external lighting, and access to a lawned area via steps.
