Peak District Walks, Trails and Running Routes

The stunning Peak District National Park is blessed with more than 1,800 miles of footpaths and bridleways for some truly amazing Peak District walks. Here you can lose yourself in nature, wandering alongside beautiful rivers, through lush valleys and dales, or striding along breathtaking edges with awe-inspiring views.

Cycling Trails

If cycling is more your thing, the Peak District has more than 65 miles of off-road cycle trails, including the picturesque old railway lines of the Monsal Trail, the Tissington Trail, the High Peak Trail and the Manifold Way.

Plan Your Adventure

So pick your Peak District Walk route, pack your bag, explore and enjoy!

A plea: We love to shout about our beautiful National Park and help people explore it, but if you walk, run or cycle in the Peak District PLEASE treat it with respect!

Barbecues and camp fires are NOT permitted anywhere within the Peak District National Park. They start fires, destroy the countryside and kill wildlife.

Please take ALL your litter home with you. It’s nobody else’s responsibility but yours.
