Summer Cottage

Summer Cottage at Field House Farm is a delightful one-bedroom cottage which blends modern amenities with a touch of rustic country charm. Tucked away at the end of a sweeping drive, Summer Cottage is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for peace and relaxation.

The open-plan living space has been beautifully decorated with clean, neutral colours, with a comfy corner sofa and a Smart TV with DVD player, ideal for cosy movie nights after a day walking in the surrounding countryside. The fully equipped kitchen has a lovely country feel and has all modern appliances including fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine. There is also a small dining table, perfect for romantic meals for two!

Relax and soak in the surroundings in the warm, airy garden room, furnished with comfortable sofas and a coffee table, where you can plan your day’s adventures or simply unwind with a good book.

The king-size bedroom at Summer Cottage has luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen to ensure ultimate comfort, and the modern bathroom features a large walk-in shower with overhead rain shower, along with soft fluffy towels.

The charming living area includes a comfy handmade leather sofa and a smart TV, the perfect place to snuggle up and relax at the end of the day. The beautifully decorated kitchen has all the essentials you could need, including oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge with icebox.

The bedroom area has a double bed with luxury linens and a throw. There is also a walk-in shower room, with overhead rain shower, handmade wash basin and toilet.

The patio doors allow you to feel part of your secluded surroundings, watching wildlife as you relax in the warmth of your cosy retreat. Open up the patio doors and step outside to your own private two-acre woodland, where you can wander through the trees and soak up the peace. Or maybe, just relax in your own hot-tub spending a romantic evening under the stars.

A ten-minute drive takes you to the popular village of Hartington, with a pretty duck pond, pubs, cafes and a selection of independent shops, including the very popular Hartington Cheese Shop. For those seeking a few more shops, the market town of Leek is just a ten-minute drive away, with beautiful Victorian architecture, set on the banks of the River Churnet.

For the thrill seekers, Alton Towers Resort is just a fifteen-minute drive away, or why not embark on a scenic steam train ride through the delightful Churnet Valley near Froghall?
