Beechenhill Farm offers award-winning eco-friendly accommodation with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna, in the most stunning, secluded location in Ilam in the heart of the Peak District National Park. With amazing farmland views and only the relaxing sounds of birdsong, Beechenhill Farm is the most serene base in which to enjoy this fabulous area.
There are three beautiful cottages to choose from at Beechenhill Farm, each with wood-burning stoves, sleeping 2, 4 and 6 people, making them the ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic hideaway, families looking for a fun-filled farm stay, and groups of friends wishing to travel together, with their own bit of space.
One of the properties is also very accessible with electric profile beds, wet room, hoist, etc, so it’s ideal for those with mobility issues who perhaps need to travel with carers. Not only accessible, Beechenhill Farm is also proud to be deaf-friendly, autism-friendly and dementia-friendly with various measures in place to help when required.
Children will love spending time in nature, exploring the onsite farm trail, spending time on the garden swing, or flying kites in the uninterrupted countryside that surrounds them! Of course, all before heading out to discover the nearby treasures in the heart of the Peak District National Park!
Cottage By the Pond is the largest of the properties at Beechenhill Farm and has been very carefully laid out to make it accessible to all, so that everyone can enjoy this magical retreat.
The open plan living space is simply beautiful, with original timber trusses and light flooding in through the large patio doors that showcase the picturesque landscape. This roomy space is great for wheelchair users who can gather with the rest of the group for a meal at the dining table, or to enjoy the warmth of the welcoming wood burning stove. There are plenty of comfortable sofas and a riser recliner chair, ideal for everyone to relax in front of the TV at the end of a fun-filled day.
The country style galley kitchen has all essential appliances including oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, perfect for those looking for a home from home stay. There is also a low level breakfast bar suitable for wheelchair-users.
