The dining room at Spring Cottage provides a perfect setting for memorable gatherings. Continuing with that characterful feel, there is another wood burning stove, housed by a stunning period fireplace, all adding to the cosy atmosphere of Spring Cottage. The dining table comfortably seats six, with an additional armchair by the fire, ideal for relaxing after your meal.
The kitchen at Spring Cottage has all the modern appliances you could need, including electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. The external utility room also has a handy freezer and washing machine, perfect for those enjoying a longer stay. You’ll also find all essential cookware and glassware to enable you rustle up a delicious meal for your friends and family, to enjoy in front of the warmth of the fire or out in the sunshine on the patio area.
In addition to the wood burning stoves, there is gas central heating throughout, so you are sure to be warm and cosy all year around.
Upstairs at Spring Cottage you’ll find three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each sleeping two people, ideal for families and couples wishing to travel together.
The first of the rooms is a delightful king-sized room, the second a spacious double and the third a comfortable twin. Each room is bright and airy with windows overlooking the garden.
On the first floor you’ll also find a large bathroom with toilet, sink, and bath with over shower.
Spring Cottage is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs, providing a lovely backdrop to your stay.

In just 20-30 minutes you can be in some of the most popular and picturesque Peak District villages such as Butterton and Hartington.
Just a 25-minute drive takes you to the Roaches, a popular destination for hikers. This stunning gritstone ridge provides spectacular views over Staffordshire, Cheshire and even into Lancashire and Wales. Just further afield is Thor’s Cave and the beautiful Manifold Valley, perfect for both walkers and cyclists.
There’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy during their stay at Spring Cottage. For those who like to spend time on the water, why not hire a boat at Rudyard Lake, or kayak at Tittesworth Reservoir.
