Quarnford Lodge is a stunning country house
that sleeps up to 28 people, set amidst the most beautiful scenery in the heart
of the Peak District National Park.

Quarnford Lodge has 10 comfortable bedrooms, 4 of which can sleep four people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Three of the bedrooms at Quarnford Lodge are on the ground floor and the entire downstairs area is on a single level, making the property accessible for wheelchair-users and the less mobile.
The communal living area includes an impressive vaulted dining room, complete with chandelier and minstrels’ gallery, with comfortable seating for up to 28 guests around a single table. The dining room also has a central wood-burning stove for added cosiness.
There are two lounges to relax in. The first has comfortable leather sofas and a
double-sided wood-burning stove to laze around.
It also has a 55” smart TV, as well as a Karaoke machine, for those who
dare! The second lounge, “the Snug”, has
a further TV and four leather sofas, perfect for providing younger members of
the group with their own space.
The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for
cooking up a feast! The high quality
appliances include two Siemens ovens, two hobs, two dishwashers, an
American-style fridge freezer and a separate larder fridge. There’s no shortage of cupboard space either,
and you’ll find all the crockery, glassware, and pots and pans to make group
catering a pleasure. If cooking isn’t on
your agenda, however, we can provide excellent recommendations for caterers.
Outside, you’ll find a secure patio area with picnic benches and a large custom-built stainless steel charcoal barbecue – perfect for enjoying the Peak District fresh air. Quarnford Lodge has parking for 15 cars.
Quarnford Lodge Location
Lodge is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park near to the
village of Flash, the highest village in England. It is surrounded by stunning countryside and
you’ll find plenty of great walks that go right from the doorstep, including a
walk to the popular site of Three Shires Head, where the counties of Derbyshire,
Staffordshire and Cheshire meet at a series of waterfalls.
At Quarnford Lodge you’ll find plenty of peace and quiet – the nearest neighbour is a farm 100 metres away – although there are two pubs within a mile for easy dining options. The elegant spa town of Buxton is less than 10 minutes away by car. Alton Towers is also within easy reach, as are the magnificent country house estates of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
