Longnor Wood Holiday Park boasts everything you could possibly need for a truly relaxing holiday. The ‘adults only’ policy and quiet site policy after 10.30pm ensures quiet, sociable ‘me time’ – whatever you choose to do. The site is great for your furry friends, featuring a dog wash with hot water and a 4-acre exercise field and dog walk with stunning views, amazing sunsets and spectacular dark skies. Even without a pet, the dog walk is a great place to stroll and admire the open views of the rolling countryside. Wildlife watchers will be in their element with abundant bird, squirrel and rabbit populations. There is a small, licensed shop on site too, with a selection of local produce. Information Room and EV charging point. Free WiFi. Gym, games room with pool table and dart board. Sauna available for hire for exclusive use. Pizzas and breakfast rolls available weekends.

If you do decide to venture further afield, Longnor Wood Holiday Park is ideally located for walking, cycling and exploring the wonderful Peak District countryside and local attractions, with a wealth of real ale pubs serving great food within a 15-minute drive. The pretty village of Longnor, with its ancient marketplace and cobbled square, is close by, as is the beauty spot of Dovedale. Longnor has a shop, fish and chip shop and pub. Both are great starting points for local walks. Only slightly further afield you’ll find the historic market towns of Leek and Bakewell and the elegant spa town of Buxton, wonderful destinations for day trips. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are both an easy drive. A car is recommended to make the most of your stay at Longnor Wood as public transport options are limited.

Hidden from the outside world and sheltered by mature woodland, each holiday lodge is tastefully designed, beautifully furnished and carefully prepared for your arrival, with lots of additional touches to make your stay truly special. And for the ultimate in luxury, all Longnor Wood lodges feature gazebo covered hot tubs for you to enjoy whatever the weather!

Four different types of hot tub lodge are available; for 1-bedroom hot tub lodges choose from a Buxton Mini Lodge, a Peak Deluxe Lodge with wood-burning stove or the Superior Chatsworth Lodges. We also have 2-bedroom Luxury Bakewell Lodges. Dog friendly options available with doggy welcome pack. All have a deluxe king-size bed, walk-in wardrobes and generous storage units. Adjacent shower rooms are installed with quality fittings, including ‘rain’ shower heads.

The spacious and contemporary living space is open, bright and tastefully furnished with a real wood dining suite and snug sofas arranged around a flame-effect heater or log burner. A Smart digital TV provides indoor entertainment and patio doors in the lounge opens on to a wide sun deck with outdoor furniture, ideal for sun-bathing or dining al-fresco.

Touring Caravan Park and Campsite

The 5-star adults only Peak District caravan park and camping field at Longnor Wood Holiday Park is a pure countryside retreat. The site features 47 hard-standing touring pitches with electric hook-up. An optional full-service pitch adds the convenience of an individual fresh water tap and grey water drain. Small number of hard-standing tent pitches with electric hook-up available in a separate camping field sheltered by mature trees and conveniently close to park facilities. Fire pits and BBQs available for hire. Up to two well behaved dogs welcome free of charge on each touring pitch. Small number of seasonal pitches available.

Camping doesn’t mean roughing it at Longnor Wood Holiday Park! Here you’ll find a spotlessly clean heated 5-star shower block, offering free no-push showers and hot water, spacious shower rooms, and individual cubicles with WC and hand basin. The undercover campers kitchen has a covered pot wash area, microwave, kettle, toaster & freezer, and laundry equipped with washer/dryer. There’s even a dog wash facility with hot and cold water. There is a covered chemical waste disposal point and a motorhome grey water service point.

Caravan Holiday Homes with Hot Tub and Dove Glamping Pods

Why not treat yourself to some affordable luxury with a stay in a Manifold static caravan with hot tub or en-suite glamping pod (no hot tub) at Longnor Wood Holiday Park?

The static caravan holiday homes are some of the best available in the Peak District and unusually have a private hot tub! These spacious caravans have been designed exclusively to provide unique accommodation for 2 adults and each have a large bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower and separate dressing room, plus an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Outside, each caravan has its own hot tub on a private wooden decking area, as well as a veranda with garden furniture, and adjacent parking.

Your four-legged friends will love it here too! Three of the six Manifold static caravans (Poppy, Quince and Rose) allow dogs.

And if you like the idea of getting back to nature but still like your creature comforts, one of the glamping pods at Longnor Wood Holiday Park could be perfect for you! Each cosy Dove pod has heating, double bed, private bathroom with shower, flat screen TV and kitchenette with a hob, microwave and fridge. All bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment are provided. Plus of course you don’t have to worry about setting up your tent!

The Yew glamping pod allows pets, so feel free to bring your furry friend with you.
