The Horseshoes has the traditional feel of a country pub, combined with the modern vibe of a stylish restaurant. Whether you’re dining in the French style Shabby Chic restaurant, in the Downton private dining area with rustic exposed brick, or the Main Restaurant with warm, elegant features, The Horseshoes has a setting to suit every occasion. Enjoy a pint beside the warmth of the fire, or a cocktail with friends in the gorgeous gardens.

The gardens at The Horseshoes are delightful, with all that you could expect from a traditional country garden. Enjoy time with friends on the lawn or on the patio, or book one of the cute huts for something a little more intimate.

Exceptional Food & Excellent Drink

One of the Midland’s finest chefs, Gareth Ward, with his top class kitchen team, will delight you with an exciting, ever changing menu utilising seasonal local produce.

Visitors can enjoy delicious meals from the A La Carte Menu such as Confit Pork Belly or Butternut and Sweet Potato Chowder, as well as pub classics, such as Beer-Battered Haddock or Pie of the Day. There really is something for everyone, of course, all to be followed with a collection of tempting desserts.

As you would imagine, The Sunday lunch menu at The Horseshoes is very popular! Enjoy local meats, served with seasonal vegetables, with a choice of two or three courses. There’s also a fabulous set menu throughout the week, where diners can choose from two or three courses, enjoying delicious food at affordable prices.

Why not pop along one Friday to enjoy a Chippy Supper, served every other Friday, with fish and chips, or pie and chips with the usual popular side sauces, and a delicious dessert to finish off.

During the summer months, the gardens at The Horseshoes become an Andalusian delight, with Sangria and Tapas Boards, which can all be enjoyed whilst listing to a wonderful Spanish Guitarist. Served each Saturday from 3pm to 5pm.

Each of the menus cater for all diets, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free, as well as great choices for children too.
