The Izaak Walton Hotel has 38 very well-appointed, spacious bedrooms, many of which have views of the beautiful Dovedale Valley or the hotel’s own gardens.

The bedrooms are divided into Classic, Twin, Family, King and Superior standards. Three of the bedrooms have four-poster beds which are perfect for a special occasion, and a further two are located in the original and quaint 17th Century guesthouse which is steeped in history and still retains the oak beams and window seats.

All 38 rooms are en-suite with both a shower and a bath. Many of the Superior Rooms boast spa baths for that extra bit of luxury. All rooms also have tea & coffee making facilities with coffee bags from The Little Coffee Bag company, complimentary bottled still water, Ringtons Biscuits, luxury refillable toiletries, Digital TV and an alarm/radio.

WiFi is available throughout the majority of the hotel (charges may apply depending on usage).

The 2 AA Rosette awarded Haddon Restaurant is the pride of The Izaak Walton Hotel and is recommended as a top fine dining restaurant in Derbyshire. With breathtaking views and creative interpretations on traditional dishes, the Haddon Restaurant is the place to dine in style.

For more informal occasions, the Dovedale Bar & Lounge is open to both Residents and Non-Residents, from 8am to 11pm, 7 days a week, with food served between 8am and 9pm. Outside of the standard bar opening hours, residents may order drinks from Reception or the Night Porter.

The Bar is very traditional with small low windows, beams and stonework. It has a warm and cosy atmosphere and is a lovely place to enjoy a local ale, partake in a pre-dinner drink or simply relax with a good book.

The Bar also serves breakfast, cream teas, light lunches, bar snacks, evening meals and Sunday lunches.
