Orchard Cottage Rainow

Welcome to Orchard Cottage, one of the exquisite Cheshire Hunt holiday cottages nestled close to Rainow on the scenic Cheshire border. Our charming accommodation includes Orchard Cottage and Damson Cottage, both lovingly crafted from a barn conversion project completed in 2008.

The original structure, dating back to the 1850s, is adjacent to a local landmark—the former Cheshire Hunt Inn, once frequented by the Hunt riders. While each cottage offers its own distinct amenities, they can be rented together to accommodate up to 11 guests, making them an ideal choice for extended family vacations.

Recognised by the esteemed Peak District Authority for its architectural significance, our barn is situated along a tranquil pathway that winds through the picturesque valley, forming part of the renowned Gritstone Trail—a favourite among avid walkers. Indulge in a luxurious self-catering retreat where each cottage has been thoughtfully furnished, boasting its own unique character. Admire the breathtaking vistas of the open countryside, and relish the convenience of being within walking distance of the historic mill village of Bollington.
