Landcroft Barn – Sleeps 4

The largest of the Take A Peak Holiday Cottages is Landcroft Barn, sleeping 4 people in two bedrooms, with lots of lovely country décor. This gorgeous barn conversion oozes character and charm with many original features such stone walls, timber beams and large wooden doors. It’s dog-friendly too (up to two dogs allowed), so your four-legged friends can enjoy a little countryside retreat alongside you.

On the ground floor there is a bright and airy yet cosy living room, with a stunning, large wood-burning stove and flat screen smart TV, the perfect place to snuggle up after a day exploring this picturesque area.

There is also a modern, well-equipped, galley kitchen, which leads on to a spacious dining area, with huge doors that open up to those stunning views!

Imagine having the doors flung open on a sunny day, leading out onto the patio to enjoy alfresco dining, and taking in the breathtaking countryside that surrounds you!

Also on the ground floor is a modern bathroom with bath and over shower, sink and toilet. For the walkers, cyclists and your four-legged friends, there is a large boot room, ideal for muddy boots, storing bikes, airing your coats, and of course, drying off the dogs.

Upstairs you will find two delightful bedrooms, which again have been decorated to the highest standard, and each include wall-mounted smart TVs. One room has a king-sized bed and the other a super king sized, which can be split to give two singles if required, making Landcroft Barn great for families or two couples. Also, on the first floor is a handy toilet with wash basin.

The dining room leads out onto a fabulous walled garden with patio and lawned area, overlooking the surrounding fields and fells, which has an abundance of wildlife, and flora and fauna which changes throughout the seasons. It really is the most wonderful spot in which to enjoy a morning coffee or a drink in the evening, watching the world go by.

Hillend Cottage – Sleeps 2

Hillend Cottage at Take a Peak Holiday Cottages is a charming cottage sleeping 2 people in a wonderful double bedroom, and lots more of those original features!

The open plan lounge/diner at Hillend Cottage has so much character with stone walls, timber beams and a welcoming wood-burning stove, a flatscreen smart TV, and even a reclining sofa, ideal for relaxing at the end of the day. Hillend Cottage is so cosy, yet feels bright as the sun beams through the windows, which enable you to enjoy views over the countryside.

There is a stylish country kitchen, which is fully equipped for a homely stay, and a lovely breakfast bar fom where you can enjoy views out into the garden whilst enjoy a morning coffee.

Upstairs there is a fabulous bedroom with a king-sized bed, smart TV and a wonderful roll top bath! Adjoining the bedroom is a modern ensuite with large walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

Outside you can enjoy a beautiful enclosed garden which is great for those bringing dogs, and a wonderful patio area overlooking the surrounding Peak District Countryside. Patio furniture is provided, as well as a warming chiminea to snuggle around in the evening!

Here there is shared parking for one car, which is available on a first come first served basis, although there is further hardstanding car parking just a few metres away.

The Studio in The Garden – Sleeps 2

The Studio in The Garden is Take A Peak Holiday Cottage’s hidden hideaway! This romantic retreat sleeps 2 people in the quirkiest, cosiest setting, with charming rustic features and everything you could need for a relaxing stay. This open plan space has a smart TV which can be enjoyed from the sofa or from the snuggly double bed which can be found tucked away in the L shaped lounge! There is also a gorgeous timber kitchen, with the cleverest foldaway ‘table for two’. There is also a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

A stable door leads out on to a delightful, enclosed patio area with patio furniture and chiminea, where you can take in that fresh air and enjoy everything that this fabulous area has to offer!

One small, well behaved dog is allowed at Studio on the Green.
