Step behind the scenes and explore the private parkland surrounding Haddon Hall, where you’ll discover the stunning landscape of Haddon Mediaeval Park—the Peak District’s oldest and largest rewilding project. This diverse mix of habitats provides a sanctuary for wildlife, including many rare and endangered species.

On this 2-3 hour walk, taken at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for observation and photography, our knowledgeable guides—all experienced historians or ecologists—will share insights into the Medieval Park’s past. You’ll also learn how the parkland supported the hall and its household from the 14th century onwards.

These walks are suitable for anyone aged 16 and over with a moderate level of fitness.

Your ticket also includes half-price entry to Haddon Hall and its beautiful gardens on the same day.
