PeakEPedals

One of the main benefits of taking a tour with PeakEPedals is that they provide tours rather than just rent you a bike and point you in the right direction. With their helpful and detailed digital or paper instructions, their carefully planned tours can all be self-guided or, if you prefer, one of their team can come with you on the journey adding a bit of local knowledge and culture to your e-bike adventure.

They have more than 50 self-guided or guided e-bike tours available every day, from 90 minutes to 6 hours, leaving from multiple locations and covering all the best areas of the Peak District.

PeakEPedals 1

Countryside e-biking is the new and easy way to explore the great outdoors and its suitable for all levels of fitness and cycling experience, meaning everyone over the age of 14 can enjoy it. (Age limit due to insurance of powered bike.)

Each of the e-bikes at PeakEPedals have a battery and a small motor to provide extra assistance when needed, for example when climbing hills or to enable you to cruise the lanes with less effort. You can decide when to turn the power assistance up or down to suit your needs, enabling you to get a workout if you want one and giving you the opportunity to cycle longer distances than you may have done on a push bike.

E-biking will help you discover the breathtaking Peak District like never before, taking away the hassle of route planning and organisation, as PeakEPedals take care of everything for you. Their self-guided or guided tours enable you to immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, as you enjoy their tailor-made routes that will lead you to iconic landmarks and hidden gems, whilst supporting local businesses with rewarding stop-offs at small shops, cafes and pubs.

Intermediate Tours:  These tours are still fine for non-cyclists, but some parts of the tour have slightly more challenging terrain and are a great way to get to explore the beauty of the Peak District.

Advanced Tours: These are the most advanced of the PeakEPedals tours, taking you to some beautiful parts of the Peak District, featuring more challenging paths and off-road areas, designed for more confident cyclists.

Multi Activity Tours: Why not take an e-bike tour to enjoy a different Peak District attraction, such as white water rafting, kayaking, museum tours, or even a trip on a steam railway?! This is a great way to spend a day with friends, or maybe a hen or stag event. Where required, PeakEPedals include the cost of taxi ride back to your car or accommodation.

Custom Tours:  If you want to fill a couple of days exploring the Peak District in specific areas, then PeakEPedals can put together an entirely bespoke tour for you. You can choose places you want to see, difficulty and duration, self-guided or guided, and even what food stops you want to make.
