Pitches to Suit All Campers
Trail View Campsite caters to every type of camper, offering a variety of pitches to suit your needs and preferences:
- Main Field – 20 Grass Pitches (7 with EHU): Perfect for Caravans, Motorhomes, Campervans and Tents. With far reaching views and incredible sunsets, these lush green pitches provide ample space for families and groups to spread out, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.
- Top Field – 9 EHU pitches (3 hardstanding): Ideal for caravans and motorhomes, these level pitches offer a stable base for your vehicle, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

- Immaculate Shower and Toilet Block: A five-star, well-maintained shower and toilet block with spotlessly clean facilities and hot showers.
- Fire Pit Rentals: Cosy up at night with a crackling campfire. Trail View Campsite offers the option to rent a fire pit, allowing you to create those perfect evenings toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Trail View Campsite is located in a charming rural setting close to Newhaven and Hartington, with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Peak District Countryside with so much to enjoy!
A short drive or leisurely walk from Trail View Campsite, you’ll discover characterful villages such as Hartington, with its traditional village pond, village pubs, cafes and independent shops, including the legendary Hartington Cheese Shop. Or the delightful village of Parwich, lined with pretty stone cottages, a traditional village pub and children’s playground. Just slightly further afield is the picture postcard village of Monyash, with another village pond, a village pub, and a fabulous café.
For those with bikes, or those who simply enjoy a gentle meander, the Tissington Trail is just a five-minute stroll from Trail View Campsite – hence the name! This twelve-mile traffic free route takes you through some of the most beautiful Peak District countryside from Parsley Hay to the popular market town of Ashbourne. Cycle leisurely through rolling hills and pretty meadows, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the picturesque scenery, or simply lose yourself in the tranquility of this beautiful area.
