This delightful campsite offers a little slice of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. Here you’ll wake to the sound of birds and lambs, with the sun rising over the rolling hills and many footpaths and cycle routes right on your doorstep just waiting to be explored. This family-run Caravan Park and Campsite is immaculate and well managed. All the staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring you have a wonderful, relaxing stay in these beautiful surroundings. Beech Croft Farm Caravan Park and Campsite is dog-friendly!
The staff are as welcoming to your four-legged friends as they are to you. There’s no extra charge for dogs, and there’s an exercise area for them to have a run around in. There’s even a dog wash area to clean their muddy paws after a day exploring in the Peak District countryside!
Please remember to clean up after your dogs and keep them under control at all times, for the sake of other campers and the safety of the local wildlife.
Beech Croft Farm Caravan Park and Campsite has 30 spacious, hard-standing pitches, suitable for Caravans, Campervans, Motorhomes and Trailer Tents, available to hire all year round. All pitches include a 16 amp hook up, water tap and TV socket with digital signal.
There are three wonderful grass camping areas at Beech Croft Farm, suitable for Tents, Trailer Tents and Campervans. There are no allocated pitches, you simply check in and choose your perfect spot to take in the surrounding scenery. Access to pre-payment electric is also available.Â

Beech Croft Farm now has a fabulous onsite Coffee Shop for the convivence of both campers and passers by. With indoor and outdoor seating, you can enjoy a selection of hot breakfasts, lunches, hot and cold drinks, and sandwiches and cake to take away. Choose from the likes of Daisies Big Cooked Breakfast, or a vegetarian ploughman’s, as well as jacket potatoes and paninis. Check out Menu here.
Located in the tiny hamlet of Blackwell in the Peak, near Taddington, with the only neighbours a handful of houses and farms, this wonderful campsite is surrounded by a landscape of gently rolling hills, open fields and drystone walls. It’s the perfect spot from which to explore the Peak District beauty spots of Tideswell Dale and Millers Dale, or to escape on the traffic-free cycling and walking route of the Monsal Trail, from where you can walk all the way to Bakewell.
The Pennine Bridleway runs right past the site entrance, giving miles and miles of safe cycling and walking through the Peak District hills. Just a little further away you’ll also find the traffic-free Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail, both of which have bike hire facilities if you haven’t brought your own.
Blackwell in the Peak is located only 6 miles away from the beautiful spa town of Buxton, with attractions for all the family, from the famous Buxton Opera House and the luxurious Buxton Spa, to the underground beauty of Poole’s Cavern or the tree-top adrenaline of the ‘Go Ape’ Adventure. Just 6 miles in the opposite direction is the ancient capital of the Peak District, Bakewell. Famed for its delicious puddings, it offers great shopping and lovely riverside walks along the River Wye.
Close to Bakewell you’ll find the stunning country house estates of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, with opulent interiors and beautiful grounds to explore.
