Eyam Brewery - Craft Beer Inspired by the Peak District

A journey from city life to rural brewing.

Eyam Brewery was founded from a desire to leave behind busy city life and build something rooted in the landscape, history, and community of the Peak District.

After moving to the area in 2011, the journey took a more defined shape in 2015 with the opening of a real ale shop in the historic village of Eyam. The focus was simple: to celebrate and showcase the best local ales and ciders from across the region.

What began as a shop quickly grew into something more. By 2017, Eyam Brewery was established, producing its own beers inspired by the surrounding hills, valleys, and village heritage. As demand increased, production expanded in 2019, and the brewery moved to a larger site in nearby Great Hucklow – allowing the team to continue growing while staying firmly connected to the Peak District landscape.

Today, Eyam Brewery continues to produce a wide range of characterful beers that reflect both tradition and experimentation, with a strong emphasis on flavour, quality, and local identity.
