This relaxed, open field site welcomes tents, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and small caravans. Duke of Edinburgh Groups and other private groups are also welcome to use White House Farm Campsite’s separate, private field, where yurts and glamping tents can be arranged if required.

White House Farm Campsite likes to keep things simple, but pristine! They have immaculate luxury loos, together with extra portaloos dotted around the site in the busier months. There are also plenty of spotless hot showers for visitors to use and washing up facilities.

Although on a working farm, well behaved dogs are more than welcome too!

Fabulous Central Location

With rolling hills and fields all around, White House Farm Campsite has uninterrupted views in all directions, providing peace and tranquility, yet close enough to many lovely Derbyshire Villages with traditional village pubs serving food. In the village of Wardlow Mires, just a 10-minute walk away, is a licensed café serving delicious breakfasts, lunches, meals and scrumptious cakes.

There are miles of stunning footpaths to enjoy from White House Farm Campsite, which is also just two miles from the Monsal Trail, making this gem of a campsite an ideal base for both walkers and cyclists.   

Picturesque areas such as Millers Dale and Cressbrook Dale, both with beautiful routes along the banks of the River Wye, are within walking distance of the site, ideal for a little paddle and a picnic. Tideswell Dale, renowned for its abundance of wildlife and wildflowers, is another stunning area to explore, reachable either on foot or just a short 5-minute drive away. Stop off at the pub in Millers Dale, or at the lovely village of Tideswell, where you’ll find tea rooms, shops and a couple of fabulous restaurants and traditional village pubs.

Nearby Litton is another pretty little village with a village green, a tearoom run by the locals, and another great pub. Less than two miles away, it’s a very short drive, or just a 30 minute walk through this gorgeous area.

White House Farm Campsite is also perfect for the cyclists as the Monsal Trail is just two miles away.  Here you can enjoy an 8.5 mile, traffic free route, from Chee Dale to Bakewell, taking in many delightful villages on the way.

For those wishing to discover more of the Peak District National Park, White House Farm Campsite is just 10 minutes’ drive to the lovely market town of Bakewell, where you can browse lots of lovely independent shops, indulge in delicious treats in the tea rooms, or enjoy a refreshing drink and delicious meal in one of its welcoming pubs! The stately home of Chatsworth is also just a 10-minute drive, where you can enjoy acres of parkland, and admire the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Being central to the Peak District National Park, you really will be spoilt for choice for routes to take, places to visit, fun activities to try, all before returning back to White House Farm Campsite to watch the sunset, and stars appear from the comfort of your pitch!
