Middlehills Farm Campsite is a family run campsite set in 40 acres of open countryside in the heart of the Peak District National Park, with a selection of pitches, camping pods and charming holiday cottages, catering to every type of camper, making it ideal for the whole family. With modern facilities, an extensive play area, a well-stocked shop, and stunning scenery, Middlehills Farm Campsite is the perfect base to relax and enjoy a break in The Peak District.

Just a short drive from the bustling market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne, and the ‘’seaside town’’ of Matlock Bath, Middlehills Farm Campsite is the perfect base for exploring The Peak District’s breathtaking landscapes and attractions.

Peaceful Campsite Designed for Families

Middlehills Farm Campsite prides itself on its family-friendly atmosphere, spacious pitches and stunning views.

The well-maintained pitches offer plenty room for tents, caravans, and motorhomes, ensuring a comfortable stay for all. Whether you prefer one of the designated electric hook-ups pitches or a more rustic nonelectric spot on the spacious open field, Middlehills Farm Campsite has you covered.

The level, grassy pitches are perfect for children to run and play, while parents can supervise and relax in the tranquil surroundings. With easy access to all facilities, parents can keep a watchful eye on their little ones as they explore the play area, which is a particular highlight for younger guests.

Middlehills Farm Campsite has a range of modern facilities designed to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The clean and well-maintained shower and toilet blocks provide ample hot water and are regularly serviced. There is a dedicated washing-up area with fridges and freezers for you use as required.

The on-site shop stocks a variety of essentials, groceries, camping supplies, and local produce, ensuring you have everything you need, including produce from Ginger Butchers in Bakewell, Cheese from Cheese Factor and fresh bread, milk, butter, and eggs from Peak District Dairy.

The fabulous play area is a hit with children of all ages, featuring swings, slides, and climbing frames and is sure to keep them entertained for hours. They’ll love saying hello to the farm pigs and ponies too.

For those who don’t fancy cooking there’s a great bar with a tea rooms serving food just a five minute drive, and another bar and restaurant less than 10 minutes away. Even better, you can enjoy freshly made pizza on site at the weekends during the summer months.

Two Fabulous Camping Pods

For those seeking a touch more comfort, Middlehills Farm Campsite offers two fabulous camping pods, Jabba and Gardula.

Both sleep 4, comprising of bunk beds and a double futon.
Each have table and chairs inside, and a USB port for charging.
Outside there is ample parking, with table and chairs, and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
The toilet and shower block is a short walk away, where there is a fridge/freezer to use as well as a pot washing area.
Please note, you’ll need to bring your own bedding and cooking equipment, including a stove as these are not included, neither is any heating. Providing a traditional camping experience with a little extra comfort!

Three Delightful Holiday Cottages

For those looking for a more traditional holiday experience, Middlehills Farm Campsite offers three delightful holiday cottages, Honeysuckle , Clematis and Jasmine , providing all the comforts of home in a stunning rural setting.

Each of the cottages have a wood burning stove, smart TVs, all essential kitchen appliances, and everything you could need for a home from home stay. All made even better with stunning views from the patio areas.
