For those booking for an extra special event, Fischer’s Baslow Hall’s Wine Room is a private dining room for 4-8 guests. The Wine Room has been stylishly decorated to give an elegant, exclusive experience, where you can enjoy fine wines and award-winning food.

Boutique Accommodation

There are eleven luxurious, individually styled bedrooms at Fischer’s Baslow Hall, each sleeping two people, in either queen or king size beds, with soft Egyptian cotton bedding. Each room has been delightfully decorated with stunning feature wallpaper, furnished to give a country, contemporary feel, all with relaxing views over the splendid gardens, woodland or rolling Derbyshire countryside.

Six of the rooms are in the Hall itself, whilst the five Garden Rooms are separate from the Hall, with their own delightful private walled garden and easy access to the car park.

Each room has its own modern bathroom with either walk-in shower, or bath with over-shower. Of course, sumptuous soft towels and robes are provided, together with pampering bathing products.

Fischer’s Baslow Hall is magnificent on this inside and spectacular on the outside. The grounds and gardens have been lovingly designed and planted to create a stunning landscape. You’re free to explore these delightful gardens during your stay, where you will find mature trees, colourful borders and selective plants chosen to attract an array of pollinators. You’ll also find a wildlife pond, a lily pond, beautiful, relaxing lawned areas, and of course, that all-important kitchen garden.

You will start your day at Baslow Hall for tea and coffee, before being taken into the Derbyshire countryside in search of edibles. During your search you will be treated to pre-made tasters such as jams, chutneys, and rubs. You will then return to Fischer’s Baslow Hall for a delicious three course lunch, inspired by the edibles found during the day, before being free to roam the grounds and gardens at your leisure.

The location of Fischer’s Baslow Hall is just as special. Baslow itself is a pretty village, centred around a village green with a selection of independent shops and a park, and Fischer’s sister pub, The Prince of Wales, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and delicious food. Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge, with spectacular views over the surrounding villages and countryside, are just two of the many iconic walking routes in the area. Just a stone’s throw away is Hassop, where you can hire bikes to cycle on the Monsal Trail. You’re just a short stroll away from the splendid Chatsworth House, with wonderful deer park, impressive grounds and attractive gardens.
