The kitchen at Pear Tree Farm is equipped to handle even the most ambitious family feasts. With an induction range cooker with two ovens and two grills, two four-bar toasters, and a microwave, there is plenty of equipment to rustle up breakfast, lunch and dinner for the whole group. With two fridges and freezers there’s lots of space for all of your perishables, and of course oodles of room to keep your beer and wines chilled! For added convenience, there’s also a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, two ironing boards, an iron, and a steamer. There’s even an extra dishwasher and extra gas cooker in back kitchen ensuring you can easily cater for your larger group!
The generous dining room at Pear Tree Farm brings everyone together! Refectory tables and chairs provide ample seating for all 22 guests, without being cramped together. The blackboards are perfect for displaying menus or leaving messages, to add touch of rustic charm and your own spin on the occasion. There are also two high chairs available for younger guests, ensuring everyone is comfortable and included.
Pear Tree Farm boasts nine en-suite bedrooms, thoughtfully arranged to accommodate a variety of needs.
Each room is furnished with quality linens, towels, a hairdryer, and bathroom essentials.
The family rooms, each feature a double bed and two full-size single beds, with a bath with shower over. A travel cot, wooden drop-side cot, and baby bath are available upon request.
Two of the rooms on the ground floor are Accessible Rooms with wheel in showers.

A 10-minute drive will take you to the charming village of Matlock Bath, the ‘’seaside village’’ of The Peak District, known for its amusement arcades, fish and chip shops, ice-cream parlours and riverside walks. This is great trip out for the whole family, as is the nearby Heights of Abraham where you can experience their legendary cable cars and much more. Just a little further is Matlock, with a great selection of bars, eateries and independent shops.
For those who’d like to discover more of the area’s history, the village of Cromford is less than 10 minutes away. Here you can also enjoy leisurely strolls along the Cromford Canal while spotting a variety of wildlife. Or why not head to Carsington Water where you can spot more wildlife, hire water sport equipment, or bikes to cycle around this beautiful area. Again, less than 10 minutes’ drive is Crich Tramway Village, another fabulous day out for the whole family.
Slightly further afield, around a 30-minute drive, lies the bustling market town of Bakewell, with lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Or visitors can simply enjoy a moment relaxing by the side of the river. Stately Homes such as Chatsworth House, and Haddon Hall, are both around a 25 minute drive which provide a wonderful day out full of history, picturesque gardens and stunning landscapes.

Prices start from £2000 out of season to £2350 to high season for a typical 2 night week-end break with sole use of the whole house. £500 per night extra night thereafter.
