The Grafene Restaurant, Lounge and Bar at Losehill House provides a memorable dining experience in the most wonderful setting! With panoramic views from three sides of the restaurant, Losehill House was recently voted one of the ‘’20 best wild places to eat in Britain’’. Once you’ve experienced this fine cuisine, it’s clear to see why this fabulous restaurant has also been awarded the prestigious Double AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence, making the Grafene Restaurant the ideal choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon tea in the most tranquil, picturesque setting.
With quality and provenance at their heart, Losehill House try to grow as much fresh produce as possible in their very own garden, and other ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. Using these select ingredients, the expert chefs pride themselves on careful preparation to produce the most exquisite flavours, all thoughtfully presented to create a wonderful fine dining culinary experience.

The Syndicate Suite is a stunning room, seating up to 12 people, with an impressive Arts and Crafts fireplace and large bay window, making for a beautiful intimate gathering for smaller groups. The Moorgate Suite is equally impressive with room for up to 40 guests, and the beautiful Orangery has room for 80 guests.

Each of these picturesque villages has a great selection of independent shops, tea rooms and pubs, and many walks to enjoy such as the mighty Mam Tor from Castleton and the stunning slopes of Kinder Scout from Edale.
The Hope Cross Walk (6.7 miles) that can be started from Losehill House, takes you out into the hills, with the most magnificent views of the Hope Valley, the Edale Valley and even into the Derwent Valley in places. The heights of Lose Hill and Kinder Scout tower above you, and you walk as far as Hope Cross, a medieval packhorse road marker, before returning to Losehill House via an old Roman road.
The Peak District National Park has so much for visitors to experience, from the high peaks to the nearby underground caverns, many cycling trails to enjoy, popular towns to browse such as Buxton and Bakewell, and the magnificent homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall with beautiful gardens.
