There are 18 ensuite boutique bedrooms and 4 beautiful suites at Losehill House, providing overnight accommodation for more than 50 guests, perfect those wishing to use Losehill House as their exclusive wedding venue, or for corporate events.

There’s a fabulous selection of exquisite rooms at Losehill House, all individually designed with elegant décor and finishing touches:
- Double rooms, king-sized rooms and deluxe king sized rooms, some of which can be converted to twin rooms to suit your requirements. Each of these rooms has an ensuite with either shower, bath with over shower, or bath and separate shower.
- Family Suites in an apartment setting, sleeping 6 adults in two rooms with king/twin beds and a sofa bed. These rooms are either ensuite or have a separate shower room. Some are ground floor rooms with external access, whilst others have internal stairs leading to the bedrooms.
- One of the family suites and one of the double/twin rooms is dog friendly so your four-legged friend can enjoy this fabulous hotel too. These are ground floor rooms with direct access to an outside terrace. (Please note, dogs are not allowed in the lounge or restaurant.)
- The Edale Suite is the most romantic room, perfect for the bride and groom! Here you’ll find a super king-sized bed, where you can enjoy views up the valley either from the comfort of your cosy bed, from your separate lounge, or via direct access to your private outdoor space. There is also an inviting free-standing bath and separate wet area shower.

The Grafene Restaurant, Lounge and Bar at Losehill House provides a memorable dining experience in the most wonderful setting! With panoramic views from three sides of the restaurant, Losehill House was recently voted one of the ‘’20 best wild places to eat in Britain’’. Once you’ve experienced this fine cuisine, it’s clear to see why this fabulous restaurant has also been awarded the prestigious Double AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence, making the Grafene Restaurant the ideal choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon tea in the most tranquil, picturesque setting.
With quality and provenance at their heart, Losehill House try to grow as much fresh produce as possible in their very own garden, and other ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible. Using these select ingredients, the expert chefs pride themselves on careful preparation to produce the most exquisite flavours, all thoughtfully presented to create a wonderful fine dining culinary experience.
Lunch is served daily from 12pm – 2.30pm, offering a varied three course, seasonal menu.
Dinner is served daily from 6.00pm – 8.30pm, from a delicious A La Carte menu including:
- Canapes in the lounge, bar or terrace
- Freshly baked homemade bread
- Starter
- Main
- Dessert
- The option of an additional course of artisan cheeses, or coffee and petit fours
Each course offers a fabulous choice, including vegetarian dishes. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for, so please ask when booking.
For those who wish to enjoy the pure splendour of dishes available, why not try the tasing menu ‘’Taste of Losehill’’ with six delicious courses, where you can explore a variety of dishes, taking you on a culinary joinery with a optional wine flight?! There is also a vegetarian option with seven flavoursome courses.
For special occasions or business meetings, Losehill House has two splendid rooms available for private dining. The Syndicate Suite is a stunning room, seating up to 12 people, with an impressive Arts and Crafts fireplace and large bay window, making for a beautiful intimate gathering for smaller groups. The Moorgate Suite is equally impressive with room for up to 40 guests, and the beautiful Orangery has room for 80 guests.
Before or after your meal, relax in the stylish bar or outside on the terrace, watching the sun set over the hills while you enjoy a pre-dinner drink or night cap. Continuing the local ethos, the bar has local Thornbridge Beer on tap and stocks a selection of bottled beers, local wines and spirits, and a great malt whisky selection.
The Thalgo Spa
The Thalgo Spa at Losehill House is something very special and an experience not to be missed! The spa facilities can be enjoyed by residents and non residents wishing to enjoy a day package, including:

Close to the popular villages of Hope, Castleton and Edale, there are so many wonderful things to enjoy during your stay here. Each of these picturesque villages has a great selection of independent shops, tea rooms and pubs, and many walks to enjoy such as the mighty Mam Tor from Castleton and the stunning slopes of Kinder Scout from Edale.
The Hope Cross Walk (6.7 miles) that can be started from Losehill House, takes you out into the hills, with the most magnificent views of the Hope Valley, the Edale Valley and even into the Derwent Valley in places. The heights of Lose Hill and Kinder Scout tower above you, and you walk as far as Hope Cross, a medieval packhorse road marker, before returning to Losehill House via an old Roman road.
The Peak District National Park has so much for visitors to experience, from the high peaks to the nearby underground caverns, many cycling trails to enjoy, popular towns to browse such as Buxton and Bakewell, and the magnificent homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall with beautiful gardens.
