Peak Venues offers a truly superb selection of self-catering properties in the beautiful Peak District National Park – from grand country houses that sleep 50 people, to cosy barns just for two. Their accommodation is always of the finest quality and in the best locations, providing exclusive use for both large and small groups.
The Peak District
Located right in the heart of England, the Peak District has something for everybody, offering wild heather-strewn moorlands as well as gently rolling hills, and peaceful villages where cows still walk along the country lanes to their milking sheds.
This is the most wonderful country for outdoor pursuits of every kind – whether you’re a hiker or a rock-climber, a mountain biker or a paraglider, the Peak District is your place. It also provides a magnificent backdrop for simply relaxing and unwinding from the stresses of daily life, and soaking up some fresh country air.
The ancient market towns of Bakewell, Matlock, Ashbourne and Leek are renowned for their independent shops, artisan crafts and fine food, perfect destinations for whiling away the hours. And in the elegant spa town of Buxton you can take in a show at the beautiful Buxton Opera House or pamper yourself at the Devonshire Dome Spa. You’ll find history around in every corner throughout the Peak District too, from the historic country house estates of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, to the ancient sites of Peveril Castle and the mysterious stone circles at Arbor Low and Nine Ladies.

A warm welcome awaits you! After months of lockdown, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally getting bigger, and it is definitely time to start planning a change of scenery. The government has announced that domestic tourism can resume and so from 4th July 2020 we can once again welcome guests to the Peak District. We have been doing lots of work behind the scenes to make sure holidays can take place safely and within government guidelines, more details of this will be available in the next few days. All of our properties are now available to book online so head over to our website to check availability and prices. We are also offering some of our larger properties at amazing prices for 2 households in July. Presently most of our small team are still furloughed. Those that are working are doing so remotely and so our phone lines remain closed for the present time. This means that we cannot offer the normal levels of customer service that you would normally expect from us. Please be assured that any queries sent via email or through the website will be answered as soon as we can do so. We are also incredibly busy supporting our existing guests. Our reduced team are working via email around the clock to support everyone with their queries and our priority is helping those due to stay with us in July. Any guests with an arrival date after 1st August 2020 we will be in touch with you as soon as we can to assist you with your stay but we are dealing with our July guests first. We thank you for your patience with us and we will do our best to be in touch with you as soon as we can. We can't wait to welcome you for a fabulous summer staycation! 🌞 ... See MoreSee Less
